Who we are

BI Protection (Pty) Ltd (“BI Protection”, “we”, “us”) is a registered South African security group and the responsible party for the personal information processed through this website. We are PSIRA registered and POPIA compliant.

Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us, and the minimum needed to respond to you:

Contact & enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number and the message or quote request you submit through our contact form.
Technical data — standard, non-identifying server and analytics information (such as pages visited and general region) used to keep the site secure and improve it. We do not use tracking that identifies you personally.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

Why we process it

To respond to your enquiry, quote request or query.
To provide, secure and improve our services and this website.
To meet legal, regulatory and security obligations.

How we protect it

The website is served over encrypted HTTPS. Access to enquiry information is limited to authorised personnel who need it to assist you, and it is held only for as long as necessary to deal with your request or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Sharing

We may share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, secure hosting and email delivery), under confidentiality obligations, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not transfer your information for any purpose you would not reasonably expect.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate or no longer needed;
object to processing, and withdraw any consent you have given;
lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
